Fair use of the pages

Reading costs nothing. Search, filter, print a recipe or send a friend a link, as long as it is for your own purposes, such as supper tonight, a cooking class you teach or a quick fact check.

Ownership

Unless a page credits someone else, the recipes, guides and original photographs are Unicornsolo’s own. Lifting big chunks of wording or pictures to post under your name elsewhere, online or in print, requires our permission beforehand. Quoting a few lines with credit and a link to the page is fine by us.

No promises about results

Everything here is shared to inform and to help you cook. We try methods ourselves and double-check the regional and historical details, but ingredients, equipment and technique differ from kitchen to kitchen, so no specific outcome can be guaranteed. Food safety is covered further in the Disclaimer.

What you send us

Anything entered into the Contact or Corrections forms must be lawful, civil and honest to the best of your knowledge, and it must be yours to pass on.

Outside pages

A handful of pages point to references elsewhere, for example on history or culture. We do not run those sites and cannot answer for what they say.

Wording here may be revised over time. Keep using the site after a revision and you are treated as agreeing to the updated text.
